UPDATE: August 2016 I have been accepted and entered a training program at a men's prison. In about six weeks I will graduate. Then I will be house, crate and leash trained. I will know all my basic obedience and a few tricks too.
Hey there, I am Roxy. I weigh less than seven pounds and am a min pin mix. I came to the rescue after a nice lady heard I was dumped in a parking lot. She worked for two weeks and finally caught me. I was so scared of everything then. She was kind enough to call the rescue and here I am, safe and waiting for a new home.
Shortly after arriving I went to the vet and was told I had something called heartworms. They were caused by a mosquito bite and they attack my heart if not treated. So then I was vaccinated, microchipped, spay and have now completed my heartworm treatment. I feel so much better. My coat is even very slick and shiny now.

Ok, I will come right out and say it, I can be a little bossy around other dogs. I just think they should listen to me. I love to cuddle with my person and sleep under the covers if allowed. Running and playing are my hobbies and I can run fast. I think it’s even fun to bolt out the door and run around if you are not careful. So I guess I am not perfect but maybe I am perfect for you.
