Update 5/12/2016  I have graduated from a prison training program.  I am house trained, leash trained, crate trained, know all my basic obedience, am able to work on an agility course and can show you a few tricks too. 

Hey, it's me Pete.  You can call me Pistol Pete if you want.  I was found and brought to a rural shelter.  I made a fool of myself there but they called the rescue and here I am.  I admit I don't like fast movements or people to grab at me.  If that happens I may bite but I really am just scared.  Please don't scare me. Change is not my favorite either.

I like being an only child and sometimes I do not play with other dogs well at all.  I don't like cats, they are yucky!  No young children either, nope, I don't like them at all.  A quiet adult only home is what I need.  Maybe we could be introduced slowly so I can get to know you? I do love to carry stuffed animals around. My favorite place to sleep in under my blanket, it is so cozy there.

I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.  My adoption fee is 150.00.  The first step in meeting me is to complete an application on www.dogsasfamily.org.  Let's take it slow and then I can love you forever.
