Hello.  Please call me Nina.  I am a basset hound/shepherd mix.  So I am low to the ground solid, longer ears and a longer narrow nose.  I think I got some of the best looks of both my parents.  I am less than two years old and weigh 43 lbs.  I came to the rescue after I was found and taken to a shelter.  They contacted my mom and I waited a long time but she never showed up to pick me up.  I need a new family now.

   I am a sweet loving girl.  I love other dogs and it's fun to run and play with them.  I can be a scared cat at times so another dog makes me feel less scared.  I take medication to prevent seizures.  The right dosage has been established and I haven't had a seizure in a while but I have to stay on the medicine for my whole life.  I know some basic manners when asked, otherwise I will pretend I don't know a thing. I am actually a smart girl.  Please don't use a harsh tone with me as I am a sensitive girl.  I would love to cuddle with you even at almost 45 lbs.  You mean the world to me.
