Oh, I am so glad you are looking at me. My name is Monkey. I am over eight years old and weigh around 13 pounds. I am a westie mix with soft white and gold hair. I came to the rescue when I needed help because I lost my family...not once but twice! It's ok, I am ready to find a new one now.
I love everyone I meet. Happy all the time, you bet. I love to play with toys, balls and especially with you. Every so often I like to go outside to lay and sunbathe in the fenced yard or just watch the squirrels. Life is good. I have had some medical issues that I need to tell you about. First, I have a heart murmur so I take medicine to help support my heart. I will need that the rest of my life. Then I have a mole on the top of my head and sometimes I scratch it so it bleeds a little. It doesn't hurt or bother me if it if its with you. My coat is soft and I have wild hair and I will probably need to be groomed every so often or brushed so I don't get mats.
I have been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and had my teeth cleaned. I am current on heartworm, flea and tick preventative. My adoption fee is 150.00 The first step in adopting me, Monkey is to complete an application at dogsasfamily.org. Life is good and it would be better with you in mine.
