Oh my, it's my turn to talk. My name is Honey. I can be a little shy around new people but once I know you care about me I will be your best friend. I am a couple of years old and weigh less than ten pounds. A while back my friend Daisy and I were found out in the country and we both had babies. After the kids were old enough they called the rescue and here we are.
I like my person, did I tell you that? I can be very loyal to you. I consider myself gentle and I have control of my ears, yea really. Sometimes they are up, other times maybe not. I am a Dachshund Chihuahua mix that is called a Chiweenie. Let me clarify that I can and will notify you of anyone who rings the doorbell or comes into the house. I may be small but can act mighty if I need to.
I haven’t had any accidents in the house so I can live inside with you. I don’t mind other dogs once we are introduced. I am not so sure about cats. Older kids are ok. I love to be picked up or sit by you on the couch. Ok, I do talk when I get excited and I love food.
I have been vaccinated; micro chipped, spay and am current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. My adoption fee is 150.00. If you want me please go to dogsasfamily.com and fill out an adoption application for me, Honey. I can’t wait to be your little “Honey”.
